Our papa and eldest sister found a poem inside Papang’s drawer. They gave us a xerox copy for us to keep. Papang was really creative. He likes to draw, compute and write. Here’s the poem…

~ MAHAL NAMING MANGA APO ~

Sampung lahat ang bilang nang mahal namin manga apo,
Una ay si MARICAR na balak libutin ang mundo;
Pangalawa ay si AILEEN mayumi at matalino,
LIZETTE naman na animo ay arista ang pangatlo;
Pangapat ay si JACQUELYN na mahilig sa musika,
ZARABETH ang panglima na mabait na’y masipag pa;
panganim ay si CARISSA masigla at listang lista,
ANGEL nama’y ikapito na ganda ay haponesa;
Ikawalo ay si MICHELLE mahilig mag mekaniko,
ANGELI ang ikasiyam mestisilla na totoo;
Ikasampu at panghuli ay tanging lalaking apo,
kaisaisa at guapo ang pangalan ay si PAOLO.

The Family and relatives of the late PEDRO ANGELES ORTIZ, who passed away in the Grace of Our Lord on February 7, 2007 at the age of 92, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to those who offered masses and prayers, sent flowers, message of sympathy, kept vigil, attended the funeral rites and who in many countless ways helped and condoled with us in the hour of bereavement.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Pedro Ortiz who was born in Philippines on September 23, 1914 and passed away on February 07, 2007 at the age of 92.

We will remember him forever.
